Board of Directors Meets Bi-Monthly (even # months) Governs and administers the Mission & Programs of the Foundation in accordance with its governing documents and federal, state & local laws for the benefit of and in the best interest of Clark County, Wisconsin and its citizens. Has oversight of all Committees, Programs and Volunteers. Executive Committee Meets Bi-Monthly and as needed (odd # months) Acts in place of the Board of Directors between Board Meetings Investment Committee Reports to the Board of Directors Meets Bi-Monthly (even # months) Oversight of Invested Assets Works with Investment Manager(s) Finance Committee Reports to the Board of Directors Meets Bi-Monthly (even # months) Oversight of Banking, Receipts & Expenses Oversight of Treasurer’s activities Gift Acceptance Committee Reports to Investment Committee / BODs Meets Bi-Monthly (even # months) Reviews and makes recommendations on certain Donations or Fund Agreements Grant Allocations Committee Reports to the Finance Committee Meets as Needed (Sept-Dec each year) Coordinates the annual Grant Cycle Scholarship Selection Committee Reports to the Finance Committee Meets as Needed (Jan-May each year) Coordinates the annual Scholarship Cycle
Development & Fundraising Committee Reports to the Board of Directors Committee Meets as Needed Donor Recognition Donor Relations Fundraising Efforts in Support of the Foundation Annual Meeting Committee Reports to the Executive Committee Meets as Needed Selects Annual Meeting Location / Menu Coordinates Invitations/ Guests Coordinates Program / Guest Speaker Other Event Details as necessary Nominating Committee Reports to the Board of Directors Meets as Needed Follows Corporate Bylaws to recommend qualified candidates for election to the Board of Directors Giving Circle Committee Reports to the Executive Committee Meets as Needed throughout the year Coordinates Giving Circle program and annual Giving Circle Donor Meeting Social Media Committee Works independently as needed Works with Development Committee Maintains and Updates Foundation Website Maintains and Updates Foundation Facebook Page Promotes and/or reports on all Foundation Programs and activities as appropriate for Social Media.
The Foundation could not function without the talent and efforts of the various Committees and the Volunteers who see that the Programs and activities are planned, communicated, executed and reported on in a timely manner.
